Please Read: I
am a Seventh-day Adventist, and I believe very strongly in Creation.
Therefore you will find no evolution on this site. Most history will be
from recorded time. However, I do believe
that God may have created more than one type of horse, so I am open to the
theory of more than one original type. I also believe that horses did find their way over to
North America, maybe before the flood (which, I believe, would explain why they
died out here).
These are my beliefs according to what I have studied so
far. I may make other comments here as I learn more. I hope you
enjoy this site and find it helpful. I have always wanted to be able to go
to just one place and find out about all the breeds. If you have any
comments or suggestions, please let me know. God
bless and enjoy!

P. S. The
original plan is still the same; only the name has changed! Right now my goal is to just get everything that
I can from everything I read or hear about onto this site! Almost
everything is in alphabetical order.
I originally wanted to use the colors of the country's flag
on the pages under that country. However, some countries do not have good
colors for reading on their flags! I may make adjustments later, but for
now I will use the closest color that looks good and is easy to read. Let
me know if you see any color combinations that just don't work!
I am trying to cite all the sources that I use on
this site on the pages under More Information. I began citing them after I
had been working on the site for a while, and I have not been as
faithful as I probably should be with keeping up with them. I do not want
to be accused of plagiarism, so as I get my act together I will try to get
everything on those pages. I probably will not cite much on the
breed pages; if you have any question as to where something was found, please
contact me.
This site is continually under construction, so please keep coming back!
I hope you find it very
helpful and I appreciate as many visits and as much constructive criticism as
you can offer! There will be an e-mail link on every breed page for this
purpose. Explore, enjoy, and e-mail! Thanks!
